A Andrea Canale

Andrea Canale —

Developer and system administrator with years of hands-on experience building networks, web applications, and reliable infrastructure — from the rack to the browser.

Who I am

Bridging development and infrastructure

I'm Andrea Canale, a developer and system administrator who works at the intersection of software and infrastructure. I design and build networks that stay up, applications that feel fast, and systems that don't wake you up at 3 AM.

My work spans from configuring routers and switches to shipping full-stack web applications. I've built networks from the ground up, developed cross-platform apps, and delivered websites for businesses and professionals who needed something that works — and keeps working.

Full-Stack Development

Modern web apps, APIs, and cross-platform solutions.

Websites & Portals

Custom sites for businesses, athletes, and brands.

Network Design

Infrastructure built for reliability and scale.

System Administration

Linux, servers, and services that run smoothly.

Cross-Platform Apps

Applications that work across devices and platforms.

Performance Focused

Everything I build is optimised for speed and stability.

How I Work

Built with intention

Three principles that guide every project I take on — whether it's a network, an application, or a website.

Reliability First

Infrastructure and applications that stay up. I design for failure so you don't have to experience it.

Clean & Maintainable

Code and configurations that are documented, structured, and easy for anyone to pick up and extend.

Right Tool, Right Job

No hype-driven decisions. Every technology choice is made because it's the best fit for the problem at hand.

Frequently asked questions

A few things you might be wondering.

About me

What do you do?
I'm a developer and system administrator. I build web applications, design and maintain networks, set up servers, and create websites for businesses and professionals. Think of me as someone who can handle everything from the physical network to the code running on top of it.
What's your background?
I have years of hands-on experience in both system administration and software development. I've built and maintained networks, configured infrastructure, developed cross-platform applications, and delivered websites for clients across different industries.
What kind of projects do you take on?
Network design and deployment, web application development, business websites, management tools and dashboards, cross-platform mobile apps, and server infrastructure setup. If it involves code, servers, or networks, I'm interested.
Do you work with clients directly?
Yes. I work directly with businesses, professionals, and individuals who need technical expertise without the overhead of a large agency. You talk to me, I build it.
Where are you based?
I'm based in Italy and work with clients locally and remotely. Time zones aren't a problem — clear communication is.

Working with me

How does a project start?
We talk about what you need. I ask questions, you share your vision, and I put together a clear proposal with scope, timeline, and cost. No jargon, no surprises.
What does a typical project cost?
Every project is different. A business website, a network deployment, and a custom web application all have different scopes. I provide fixed-price quotes after understanding your requirements — you'll know the cost before we start.
How long does a project take?
It depends on the scope. A website might take a couple of weeks; a more complex application or network deployment can take longer. I'll give you a realistic timeline during our first conversation and keep you updated throughout.
Do you provide ongoing support?
Yes. I can maintain and support what I build — whether it's keeping a server updated, monitoring a network, or adding features to an application. We'll agree on the support terms that make sense for your project.
What if I need something not listed here?
Reach out anyway. If it's outside my expertise, I'll tell you honestly and point you in the right direction. If I can help, we'll figure out the best approach together.

Always learning

Technology moves fast. I'm constantly exploring new tools, frameworks, and approaches to stay sharp and bring the best solutions to every project.

Real-world focus

Everything I build and share comes from real needs I've encountered in the field. No toy projects — tools and code that solve actual problems.
